The Hooley House gang is comprised of: restaurant veterans with over thirty years of experience, an events team headed up by Paul Baker of Brigid’s Cross (an Irish folk band of international acclaim), Brew Master Matthew Hagerman of Virginia (nationally recognized for his award winning craft brews), and an eclectic cast of friends and family with extensive experience in throwing a great Hooley!
What’s a Hooley, you ask?
Hooley (who-lee) – an Irish boisterous party; a noisy, merry party; (informal) home kitchen party. Traditionally, a Hooley was a social party that took place in a private residence, often in the kitchen. Everyone brought their favorite dish, their instruments, of course their favorite brew, and they ate, sang, and danced long into the night!
Yep, it’s all about having fun. In keeping with the Hooley tradition, the Irish/American Sports Pub serves moderately priced, fresh and tasty favorite foods, with a spotlight on classic Irish dishes.
Imported and domestic brews are served; coming soon the Hooley House’s own craft beers, exclusively brewed by Matthew Hagerman, M.A. Hagerman Brewing Co of Frederick VA.
The spacious, yet cozy dining room is designed to deliver a hi-tech viewing experience for sporting events and live entertainment. Join us for your next meeting, complimentary Wi-Fi Internet service is available anywhere in the pub! On the outside patio, you will enjoy seasonal dining in front of a large stone fireplace.
Two large projection HD screens, complemented by over twenty flat panel TVs, will show every sporting event that interests you. A cutting edge, custom sound system will ensure a surround sound experience for sports and other televised events.
Hooley House’s custom designed performance stage and sound system create a perfectly balanced concert effect for live entertainment every weekend and interactive fun on weeknights.

The Hooley House is open seven days a week, from 11am to 2am Monday through Saturday, 12pm to 12am Sunday, serving lunch, dinner, and late night menus.
